Aimee is a dedicated and compassionate Chief Operating Officer at Tenax Strategies. Upon joining Tenax Strategies in 2019, Aimee brought a diverse and multifaceted background that is a testament to her expertise and versatility. Notably, her business administration and financial operations proficiency complemented her previous advocacy experience. This unique combination of skills and knowledge is invaluable in her current role, as it allows her to draw on her expertise in caring for people and apply it effectively and empathetically.

One of Aimee’s core beliefs is that “We don’t always control what happens to us. But we always control how we interpret what happens to us, as well as how we respond.” 

Aimee and her family experienced a tragedy in 2016, as they lost her eldest son, Emmett, to substance use disorder. Determined to make a positive impact in the lives of others, end the stigma of addiction and help other families find essential resources, Aimee became actively involved in volunteer work and advocacy efforts on a local and national level. 

She has testified before Congress numerous times, organized local and national remembrance events and educational sessions, and spoken at prestigious conferences such as the NIDA and NIAAA Genetics and Epigenetics Research Consortium.

Aimee's unique business operations and educational background is an asset to Tenax Strategies, where she treats the team like an extended family. Her meticulous attention to detail, organizational skills, and love for systems and processes enable her to manage the company's finances and operations efficiently.

Aimee does not have a client-facing role at Tenax Strategies. Instead, her clients are the Tenax team members, and she removes obstacles to empower them to be better at executing their roles. Aimee's positive energy and ability to channel big ideas in the right direction ensure that the team remains focused and on task. 

Additionally, Aimee's dedication to the company's core values and caring nature make her the go-to person for support and guidance, earning her the nickname office mom. Her innate passion for organization, systems, processes, and people, and unwavering dedication to Tenax's core values, has made her an integral member of Tenax Strategies. 

Since joining Tenax, she’s helped the company grow and thrive. Aimee's attention to detail and thorough understanding of the company's inner workings saved the day during the chaos of the Covid-19 pandemic, where her unique skill set proved invaluable.

Aimee promptly took action when the company was compelled to transition to remote work unexpectedly and overnight. Through diligent research and astute discernment, she identified the appropriate tools and workflows necessary for the team's continuity, seamlessly implementing them with precision, which enabled the team to operate with unimpeded efficiency.

In addition to her skills as an operational mastermind, Aimee is also known for her ability to keep people focused and on-task. She takes a personal interest in every team member, treating the workplace like a home away from home. Aimee's infectious positive energy and can-do attitude make her an inspiring leader.
